Condé Nast International is pleased to announce that the Condé Nast Center of Fashion & Design will open in Shanghai in autumn of 2015, following the success of Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design in London - Condé Nast’s first initiative in the field of fashion education, launched in 2013.

As the premier lifelong and executive fashion education provider in China – Condé Nast and its world-leading multimedia brands power the Center. The Center’s mission is to identify, cultivate, support and inspire current and future talents for the industry. “It is the right place and timing for Condé Nast to further strengthen our collaboration with our industry partners. The Center will carry on Condé Nast’s core value of authority, credibility and quality, and push new frontiers in innovation and insight”, remarked Liz Schimel, Managing Director of Condé Nast China.

Leveraging Condé Nast’s unparalleled industry resources, the Center offers a unique and active learning experience closely aligned to real-world practices. An array of professional full-time and part-time courses are offered in the fields of fashion, media, digital, design, luxury and business. Courses are tailored for individuals ranging from fresh university graduates, industry professionals, to senior executives from China and overseas.

Supported by a world-class faculty of expert industry practitioners and academics, the Center will equip participants with the knowledge, skills, mindset and network crucial to flourish in the industry, and will actively connect participants with job opportunities in Condé Nast and its industry partners.

Condé Nast has been carefully planning the launch of the Center and working closely with key stakeholders in the industry to tailor this educational institution to truly meet the needs of the industry. Starting in autumn 2013, Dominique Simard, Executive Director of the Center has led intensive market research and in-depth discussions with industry professionals. “There is an expertise gap between the fashion industry’s needs and what many job candidates can provide. The Center will open its doors later this summer. Located on Mid Huaihai Road, a leading fashion and luxury retail destination that gathers Maison Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, K11 and Lane Crawford, among others, the 1550 m2 Center is equipped with cutting-edge digital and educational facilities. The Center will create an innovative, state-of-the-art learning environment and will also include an expansive multifunctional space that will become a unique location for the Center and its partners to host fashion shows, conferences, exhibitions and VIP events.

This program will help you to explore and understand this specificity and to contribute to creative brand marketing.
