Mengenai Pusat Tarian Bradford

Pusat Tarian Bradford terletak di tengah-tengah pusat bandar Bradford. Ia telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 2015 untuk menyediakan profesional, ruang tarian berdedikasi dan hab kreatif bagi penduduk Bradford dan kawasan sekitarnya. Tempat dan tarian studio kami akan dibuka kepada orang ramai pada bulan Ogos 2015.

Tujuan utama Pusat Tarian Bradford adalah untuk memajukan, menggalakkan, mempromosi dan memudahkan pembelajaran, pendidikan, latihan dan pembangunan diri dalam tarian. Kami komited untuk mewujudkan peluang-peluang dalam tarian untuk semua anggota masyarakat, tidak kira usia, latar belakang, pengalaman atau keupayaan. Pusat Tarian Bradford menawarkan pelbagai kursus dan peluang pembangunan profesional bagi pelajar tarian, artis tari profesional dan ahli-ahli masyarakat setempat.

Pusat Tarian Bradford merupakan sebuah syarikat sosial tidak berasaskan keuntungan dan penyedia latihan UK berdaftar beberapa badan pemberian yang paling dihormati di UK.

Pusat Tarian Bradford terletak berhampiran dengan segala kemudahan di bandar ini dan hanya berjalan kaki yang singkat dari stesen kereta api dan bas di Bradford.

Kemudahan

Pusat Tarian Bradford mempunyai 4500 kaki persegi ruang tarian khusus, dengan tiga studio profesional tarian, kemudahan yang berubah-ubah, yang, pejabat dapur kecil dan ruang bilik mesyuarat dan, terbuka kawasan penerimaan kaum yang besar, sesuai untuk majlis rasmi dan rangkaian.

Studio tarian kami akan disediakan untuk sewa setiap jam dari bulan September 2015.

Foundation Course in Professional Contemporary Dance (QCF Level 1-4)

Our new foundation course in professional contemporary dance, is an intensive course for students looking for part-time, high-quality practical dance training. [+]

Foundation Course in Professional Contemporary Dance (QCF Level 1-4) Dates: Sept 2015 - July 2016 Hours: 18 hours per week Schedule: Thursday & Friday; or Mon & Wed evenings and Saturday Cost: £3,245 Our new foundation course in professional contemporary dance, is an intensive course for students looking for part-time, high-quality practical dance training. The course is delivered either over two full days, or over evenings and weekends, which enables students to continue to work or to undertake further study. This is a practical course, which aims to develop students contemporary dance technique and performance skills. Each week students will participate in 11 practical classes: 6 contemporary technique dance classes; 2 classical ballet technique classes; 2 body conditioning classes (such as pilates or yoga); and 1 creative/choreography class. Each term students will have the opportunity to learn three contemporary dance techniques, such as Graham-based, Cunningham, Horton, Limon and release techniques. Students will have the opportunity to share their learning and perform the work created at the end of each term. There are no formal entrance requirements. Candidates will be expected to have some practical experience in contemporary dance and will be selected based on their commitment and desire to undertake the training, demonstrated on their completed application form. Students may choose to undertake nationally recognised dance qualifications, from a QCF Level 1 Certificate up to QCF Level 4 Diploma (equivalent of the first year of an undergraduate degree). Diploma in Dance Teaching - Children and Young People (QCF Level 6)

Our diploma in dance teaching and learning is a part-time course for dance practitioners wishing to gain a nationally recognised dance teaching qualification for working with children and young people. [+]

Diploma in Dance Teaching - Children and Young People (QCF Level 6) Dates: Sept 2015 - June 2016 Hours: 112 hours over 14 days Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays Cost: £2,465 Our diploma in dance teaching and learning is a part-time course for dance practitioners wishing to gain a nationally recognised dance teaching qualification for working with children and young people. The diploma is a route to Qualified Teacher Learning Skills (QTLS) status. The diploma is suitable for all dancers, practitioners and teachers working with children and young people, whatever their level of teaching experience, training background or style of dance. The diploma is delivered over 7 weekends (14 days) from September 2015 to June 2016, which enables students to continue to work, or undertake further study. The diploma is scheduled to run alongside our foundation course in professional contemporary dance and students may choose to undertake both qualifications. The Diploma is a vocational qualification which consists of four individual units of study: Teaching and Learning in Dance; Professional Knowledge of Dance Teaching; Critical Reflection on Dance Teaching; and Dance Teaching in Practice. For each unit, candidates must successfully demonstrate their knowledge of the learning outcomes in relation to their own practice and style of dance (or a style of dance they are interested in). The Diploma is a recognised teaching qualification by the Institute for Learning. On completion of the course, candidates may apply for QTLS, at an additional charge.
